In the past I have written about how the low volume of trading for FORTY, the equity of Formula Systems (1985) Ltd., combined with the company’s capitalization and limited float, causes amusing effects, including insane Low Liquidity Market Capitalization Leverage enabling, for instance, four shares traded at $21.68 per share, for a transaction value of $86.72, to have a positive economic impact of $8.96 million on the market capitalization of Formula Systems (read about this here.)
Another amusing, crazy effect of the low volume is the stroboscopic effect one can be exposed to when looking at the detailed daily trades:
